Hotel Azzi is an enchanting hotel situated in Florence. This lovely structure is characterized by a particular style, which revives the ancient Florence.
The hotel was opened in 1948 and today it still preserves inside: furniture of that period, a marvelous pendulum clock and the ancient cellar. A Jazz background contributes to make the atmosphere more relaxing and welcoming.
In the past this building was first of all a hermitage monastery, which gave hospitality to passersby and pilgrims, then it became a part of the palace of the printer Barbera.
In 2007 the rooms and the hall of the hotel were partly restored, preserving the style.
All the time chosen by artists, nowadays the hotel differs from the other structures for its charming ambience, which revives the ancient atmosphere of the book society and its "bohemian" style.
The concierge at the reception is always at our guests' disposal to organize guided tours in Florence and Tuscany, as well as to book museums' tickets.
But the feather in our cup is the splendid library. Here you can find books in several languages, collected during the years and rest near the chimney enjoying an optimal reading. Moreover, the Azzi hotel has at its disposal a splendid sunny terrace, ideal place for relaxing moments with friends. The bar service of the hotel offers: coffee, wine bar and a big choice of biological products.
Finally, the hotel offers further services, like: free Wi-Fi internet connection, smoking and non-smoking rooms, controlled garage (on request).
